BRITOLY® BIO-OG 400: Reservoir Souring Inhibitor
Description:
BIO-OG 400 is a non-traditional, proactive solution to reservoir souring. It is based on nitrate technology, which works by stimulating beneficial nitrate-reducing bacteria (NRB). These NRB outcompete SRB for nutrients and can produce nitrite, which is directly toxic to SRBs, preventing the generation of H₂S in the reservoir itself.
